We learned about the minimum wage in our class. After the class, I've search the minimum wage from the internet. Minimum wage in Korea is about 4,320 won. And Many workers are received less than that. Is wages appropriate to meet the needs of life?
Many people argue that the wage is not enough. Because they want to have many things and they don’t want to work for a long time. In other words, workers want to enjoy the life and they want to buy what they want. But the minimum wage makes workers unhappy. If they received the minimum wage, they will be work for a long time and they can’t buy many things what they want.
Over time, prices will rise. So many people will not be able to get what they want. Their lives will be hard. Our government will need to consider about the minimum wage.
The problem is that our bacic living is not guaranteed by our minimum wage now. If someone on minimum wage has family to support, that family just can't do anything but breathing. Prices of most of products we really need keep going up, but minimum wage isn't changed alot.
